Decendants of Morris and Channah Levin who came to Philadelphia in 1907 from Vitebst
Goubernia, Russia.
The Levin Children included:
MARISHA--Mary Carepul Zalman--Jake, cobbler. Wife: Leah Swartz. Children: Albert,
Ida, Samuael, Bella.
SMUEL--Sam, cobbler. Wife: Ester Steinberg. Children: Mollie, Ida, Kalman (Herman), Reba,
Minnie, Simon.
SOREA--Sarah. Husband: Abe Fletman. Children Ida, Anna, Miriam, Herbert.
ELKA--Annie. Husband: Manny Blau. Children: Norman, Irwin.
MAYSHA--Morris, cobbler. Wife: Bertha Gordon. Chilren: Nelson and Honey (Anna).
HERSCHEL--Harry, cobbler (and you wonder why this family has a foot fetish!). Wife Sophie
Swartz (Leah's sister!). Children: Ida, Celia, Miriam, Sam, Herbert, Ruth, Anna, Beatrice.
MOOTEL--Mike, merchant and supposed boot-legger. 1st wife: Fagel Cominsky. Children:
Albert, Louis, Bennie. 2nd wife: Bertha. Children: Reberta, Honka (Anna), Samuel, Miriam,
Geraldine, Jeanette, Martin.
ELISHA--Elizabeth. Husband: Hyman Siniawsky. Children: Leon, Herbert, Elaine.
Purpose
The purpose of the list is to facilitate communication between members of the family.
Because times have changed and people now living very far away, communication becomes
difficult. By using Internet technology, we can bring the family members closer together.
Instructions
